seems like a great buy

At first glance, seems like a great buy. Learn how to use different kanji for the situation hand. But then, realize after buying it, no explaination sometimes when only two or more kanji are listed, without any explanation differentiating them!?
In these cases, you know there are alternatives, but you must look up the differences in another dictionary.
My copy is sitting unused as a result.
